Booking & Cancellation Policy

Pinkline Legal Services provides administrative, document‑based, and traditional notarial services. This Booking & Cancellation Policy explains how appointments are scheduled, rescheduled, and canceled, as well as the expectations for clients using our services.

By booking an appointment or requesting services, you agree to the terms below.

1. Booking Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled through our online booking system or by contacting Pinkline Legal Services directly.

When booking, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information

  • Select the correct service type

  • Upload or send any required documents before your appointment

  • Arrive on time and prepared

Some services may require pre‑payment at the time of booking.

2. Appointment Confirmation

Once your appointment is booked, you will receive:

  • A confirmation email

  • Appointment details

  • Instructions for any documents or information needed beforehand

3. Rescheduling

You may reschedule your appointment within the timeframe listed in our scheduling system.

Rescheduling is allowed if:

  • The request is submitted before the cutoff time

  • The new appointment time is available

If the rescheduling window has passed, the appointment may be treated as a cancellation.

4. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made within the timeframe listed in our scheduling system.

A cancellation may be subject to fees if:

  • You cancel after the allowed window

  • You miss the appointment without notice

  • The service required preparation that has already begun

Notary travel fees are non‑refundable once travel has started.

5. Missed Appointments

A missed appointment (“no‑show”) occurs when:

  • You do not attend your scheduled appointment

  • You do not cancel or reschedule within the allowed window

Missed appointments may result in:

  • A no‑show fee

  • Loss of deposit

  • Requirement of pre‑payment for future bookings

6. Late Arrivals

If you arrive late:

  • Your appointment may be shortened

  • Your appointment may need to be rescheduled

  • A late fee may apply depending on the service

If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be marked as a no‑show.

7. Preparation Requirements

Some services require documents or information in advance.
If you fail to provide the required materials before your appointment:

  • The appointment may need to be rescheduled

  • Additional fees may apply

  • The appointment may be canceled without a refund

8. Rush Processing

Rush Processing is an optional add‑on and is billed in addition to the standard service rate for any request that requires an expedited turnaround.

Rush fees are non‑refundable once work has begun.

9. Mobile Notary Mileage

Mobile notary appointments include a mileage fee billed at the state‑approved rate of $0.72 per mile, calculated round‑trip from Mount Holly, North Carolina.

Mileage fees are non‑refundable once travel has begun.
